Ron Jensen
President and CEO
Ron Jensen is President and CEO of Paper Pak Industries. Having joined PPI in 2003, he brings considerable leadership experience to the Company.
Ron has a resumé that includes executive positions both in large public global companies and private equity backed ventures. Having had this breadth of experience, he is known for energizing businesses and leading them to much higher profitability through a combination of organizational and strategic development. He also cross-fertilizes "best-of-breed" public company techniques with private equity emphasis on equity returns and appropriate use of financial leverage.
As President of Outboard Marine Corporation's International Group, and as a Vice-President of the Corporation and elected officer, Ron restructured a money-losing global business and turned it into a steady profit maker. As Vice-President, Manufacturing at OMC, Ron was responsible for global manufacturing strategy. The result was OMC's plants had national and international acclaim for lean manufacturing and an aggressive Six Sigma quality program.
While President & CEO of Graphics Arts Center, he improved operations, added innovative products and services and executed four acquisitions, growing this business from $120 million in sales to $495 million while attaining all investment objectives. As Chairman, President & CEO of Kelmscott Communications LLC, a private equity backed venture, Ron worked to start this business, achieve financing and build the business primarily through acquisition. After eleven acquisitions, the company grew to $150 million in sales.
Ron also has significant experience devising strategy and building businesses in China, Europe, Mexico, South America and Asia.
While at PPI, Ron has driven improvement in sales and operations, along with a large expansion of new product development. With continued product innovation and international expansion, PPI is poised to be a category leader in its industry.
