Absorbency
Each of PPI's soaker pads is available in an unlimited range of absorbent levels. For high moisture food products, PPI can apply FDA approved super absorbent polymers to our pads.
Medium
PPI uses layered high crepe tissue in our best selling pads, thus eliminating the risk of fluff particles unexpectedly bursting into your package.
Sizes and Shapes
Our absorbent pads are available in standard as well as in custom sizes and shapes. PPI's modern finishing lines enable us to manufacture pads in the sizes and shapes that are ideal for your product and package.
Color
The color of the food pad can be customized for your package. Our most popular colors include white, yellow, pink, blue and black.
Form
Our absorbent products are available in individual pads packed in convenient cases or in large rolls for high volume mechanical applications.
Food Safety
PPI has developed patent protected technology that reduces the bacterial growth in packaged meat and poultry, thus maintaining product appearance as the product ages inside the package.
Security
PPI's UltraZap pouch pad is available with either a Checkpoint® or Sensormatic® anti-theft device. Concealed between our layered high crepe tissue, the Checkpoint or Sensormatic label provides retailers with a cost effective anti-shoplifting device.
